SHROUDS
We are very excited to announce that we are now in the shroud-making business! In partnership with Soul Circle, we offer custom-made or sew-it-yourself shrouds in various designs for you, your loved ones, and your pets. These full-body shrouds can be used for either burial or cremation. Scroll down to see sizes and pricing.
We work with you to create the perfect shroud design for your needs and budget, and to obtain accurate measurements. Then, we make your unique shroud using unbleached cotton, with love and intention in every stitch.

We assemble a Sew-It-Yourself shroud kit, complete with washed, measured, and cut fabric pieces, thread, and sewing instructions.
Full-Body Shrouds for Burial or Cremation
Shrouds can be used for different purposes, including natural or green burials, cremations, or traditional burials.
Natural/Green Burial Shrouds
We use only unbleached cotton fabric and thread for these shrouds. We do not use any metal, plastic, or other materials that are not compostable. We also do not use non-plant-based fabric dyes. This means that your shroud is completely biodegradable and therefore suitable for natural/green burial.*
*Some cemeteries also require the use of a biodegradable container for a natural/green burial.
Cremation Shrouds
Most materials (except leather and rubber) can be used for these shrouds, although more synthetic fabrics tend to release more pollutants. We do not include any metal or plastic on these shrouds (for grommets or buckles, for example).
Traditional Burial (Casket) Shrouds
Any material can be used for these shrouds, although some are more difficult to work with than others and therefore may incur extra labour costs.

Style A
Coffin-shaped (tapered at head and feet), with handles and tie ribbons sewn in
Style B
Rectangular, with separate tie ribbons (no handles)
Style C
Circular, with tie ribbons (no handles)
Suitable for pets (in an extra-small size)
